Powers of Ten: Zoom Out From Your Place

A powers-of-ten zoom on a live map. It starts on a photo of a garden, a metre and a half across, and pulls out one power of ten every few seconds, with a square at each power to show the scale: the garden, the street, the city, the country, the whole Earth, the Moon's orbit, and on past the planets to the edge of the solar system, as they are in the sky right now. Press anywhere to stop and explore from where it is, or play it from any place on the sun map.
